Simple Build (for Wife)

What you see to the right, the pic inside my garage (shop), was after I let the stain dry. This was one of the pics I posted on Facebook. I got quite a few comments: “I love it!”, “Good Job”, “Beautiful”…and “What is it?”, “Ummm…hm…looks cool”. Even after just saying it’s a Blanket Rack. Still got question marks.

My wife approached me about something to organize or at least make our quilts, blankets, Snuggies, etc more accessible. She found this piece online and said what every (mostly…or just, some) wife says to her husband, “hey, you can make this can’t you?” And just like any husband (should) say, “Heck yeh! I’ll punch that out right now!—so….where’s the plans?”

Before I knew it, I was cutting away, measuring away, slaving away at this thing. I had built my first project for my wife! And she actually LOVED it! That’s a WIN!
