Frequently Asked Questions

I have a project in mind for my office/home/personal space. What do I need to do?

Good question. Pretty simple. Fill out the Project Form as much as you can or want. Once I read over your submission, I will contact you shortly (24-48 hours) and we can discuss what you typed up. If we both agree on this project as a whole and everyone is happy, the process begins.

Once I receive payment (talked about in our conversation) I will purchase the lumber and other necessary items and get started. I will occasionally send photos, videos, and from time to time video chat (scheduled, either by myself or by you) to bring you into the process.

The closer I get to being done we will start making arrangements for pickup or delivery. If applicable, payment needs to be complete and cleared before delivery/pickup will be established.

What is included in your pricing model?

Ahh! A VERY common question asked by many. I will discuss the intricacies of that question in conversation with you, but for this purpose: Labor (My Rate + Shop Rate), Overhead (What it takes to keep things operating in the shop), Consumables (What I use to create your project and hold it together) and obviously the Lumber. Then there's the Profit Margin. It is what it is. It's a business, not a charity. My business NEEDS to make money like humans need food and water. By just paying for my work, what I use for that, and the lights to see is exactly doing just that. Breaking even. Who just wants to break even? So there you have it, my Profit Margin spiel.

If you end up choosing WoodWorks by Clint to create your project, then you will see a detailed list (just like you would at a Wal Mart). I believe wholeheartedly in transparency. How do I (Clint a.k.a. WoodWorks by Clint) earn my hard earned money through taking YOUR hard earned money? You are literally investing in me. You should and WILL know what you are investing in.

Do you have any products to buy?

I do not. I don't see myself offering anything anytime soon. Only time will tell. Pretty short and sweet on this question.

Where’s your Order Form? How do I make an order?

So…I don’t have one. I purposely didn't put one online because I have my own quote system I use and I also want to try and connect with my prospective customer. They’re not just a number. As a matter of fact, they’re not a number at all. They’re a human, that has cognitive thought, and I want to put some of your feeling into your project via Me. I'm seriously here for QUALITY.

Once we have our initial conversation and we agree to move forward, after you give me your specifications (Item, possible wood choice(s), approximate measurements), I will send you a quote. After your approval, I will move forward with the project with those specifications and that will be how you place your Order.

By All Means, if you have a question that wasn't addressed here, I'm an open book. Just fill out the Contact Me Form. Honestly that would be best versus emailing me directly for possible Spam/Junk mail and I may never see your email.
